Biography

Sekoya Art Studio is a small, highly skilled family collaboration. While Luis and one studio artist create beautiful pieces of metal and glass functional art, wife Loren manages the administrative day to day operations of their busy studio.

“I have really come to appreciate Iron.” says Luis. It is plentiful, long-lasting and non-toxic. Besides the structural strength of iron, I like how it can be bent and twisted to create very fluid functional designs that are light and lyrical. As an artist this work excites me –
it’s like line drawing in three dimensions with unlimited possibilities.”

In addition to the gallery pieces that are ever changing in the Sekoya repertoire, custom designed furniture commissions are also available.
